Carolina Waves Releases "Black AF" Single and Cypher

Award-winning local platform, Carolina Waves, presents “BLACK AF,” a collaborative cypher and single featuring independent NC artists, 2FLY KING (Henderson), TAGEM (Raleigh), Lena Jackson (Raleigh), and Jooselord from Durham, NC The cypher video and single are designed to bring awareness to the current situation of our country and to give a voice to the Black Lives Matter movement from area artists who have been outspoken activists in various ways throughout the community.
All profits benefits local NC non-profits including Advance Carolina, Democracy Green, Raleigh PACT, and Emancipate NC. The track is produced by Grammy Award-nominated Imani “Yaya Beatz” Pressley, and features partnerships with Not Yet Famous, DJ RNB, and Power & Progress Promo. The video was shot and directed by Pat Lincoln of Torchhouse Media and Brandon McCarrell at Raleighwood Studios and, produced, curated and conceptualized by Mir.I.Am.
